Artist History
A Distinctive Figurative Style
Gorgs’ work follows a strong tradition of figurative art with erotic overtones. He interprets his subject loosely, keeping his figures open and emphasizing motion through line and contour. A foreword in a book on Gorg’s work captures his artistic sensibility.
Sophia Paleotheodoros
“The magic of abstract art is that it takes everyone to a different place, but shapes and colors in the abstract can also let the viewer experience certain emotions”.
Bold Expression In Every Canvas
“The innovative and electric energy within Sophia Paleotheodor’s abstract work is amazing. Her canvases are bold and expressive, and her application of resin gives the physical appearance that water has been suspended in time. Sophia transforms her canvases into abstract compositions that feel “otherworldly.” As you look at her art, you feel as though you’ve traveled to an unearthly place with new colors and dimensions.”
